valentine lights :: home decor :: diy

i love a mantel lit with a string of white lights.  so dreamy and romantic... and even more so when the lights are wrapped with soft, delicate, white hearts.   i just want to light a fire, poor a glass of merlot and snuggle with hubby (but only after he's showered of course).

here's the diy details:

1. i used garden lights, but i think icicle lights may work too.
2. cut out hearts from varying types of fabric and paper.
3. poke lights thru each heart.
4. enjoy!
