diy feather earring :: diy

i love a feather earring.  so chic and boho.  here's how to make a pair for yourself!

1. using a long strip of tape, adhere the tip of each feather - be sure to spread the out so you don't get awkward overlap
2. spray paint gold, silver or color of your choice
3. after paint dries, glue (hot glue or e6000) the feather to a charm (i used feather charms too)
4. use a jump ring to hook the charm onto the earring base.
5. wear with pride! you are super stylish.

here's a fun and easy diy...

1. print a house or building out on a heavyweight paper
2. cut out house and be sure to leave room on each side
3. cut out a few windows using scissors or an exacto knife
4. use a hot glue gun to adhere the photo to a battery operated tea candle

i think these would look amazing lining a mantel as a little village!

1. take a profile picture and print on 8x10 paper.  this can be a low quality print-out.
2. with precision, cut out profile picture and then trace onto decorative paper.
3. cut out and mount onto a heavyweight matte paper for framing.

easy as pie.
