crazy about owls :: baby trends

when "the monster" was a baby, monkey's we're the it thing.  he still sleeps with his sock monkey every night. although... it's getting pretty worn, so i've been trying to retire it to the shelf lately. 

one morning after "bump" was born, i went for a very, very early morning run.  as i was passing the nature preserve, an owl flew right out in front of me.  like 10 feet away.  i'd never seen an owl so close before...  it was a breathtaking site.  ok...  so i was already a bit out of breath anyway.

coincidentally, as i've shopped around for baby items for "bump", owls have been everywhere.  i just love them.
