surrealism :: photography

last weekend we celebrated a little early by setting off a few fireworks of our own.  the kiddos were only allowed to play with the sparklers though and i got some very surreal photographs of them.   i just love these.  mostly because they are so different from how i usually shoot... with a soft, dreamy style.

surrealism might be my very favorite style of photography and i hope to get more and more into it as i become a better artist.  sarah ann loreth does an amazing job capturing the erie and compelling.  have you checked her out?  if not, it's a must do.  xoxo.
