piano on the porch :: photography

here at maple hill, we have a large wrap-around porch with an old piano that sits on it.  the piano is slightly out of tune, but it's really not unpleasant to play.  sometimes, on warm nights, i will sit out there, while the boys play in the yard and the dog lies around, and i will try to remember what i learned in music lessons 20+ years ago.

did you take piano lessons as a child?  i've always wanted to take them again as an adult.  "the monster" might be ready in the next year or so to begin lessons, so maybe i'll tag along with him.  they say if you can play a piano, you are set to play any musical instrument there is...
