here's an easy project that your kiddo is sure to enjoy!  also... perfect timing for halloween:  you can round the felt tips instead to make animal paws, or use pink felt to create the illusion of painted nails.

p.s.  are you making halloween costumes this year?  we always have a few parties to attend in costume before the actual trick-or-treating event.  i let the kids have 2 costumes each - one for the parties (that usually gets destroyed) and then one for halloween night.  i always hand-make the latter and let them go to the store and pick out their costume for parties.  "the monster" always chooses something with big muscles and a scary mask.... boys {sigh}.
