button bracelets :: diy :: project for kids

arm candy!  the boys and i made these button bracelets for them to share with friends.  they each loved picking out the color and type of button for a specific buddy.  "the monster" was good at stringing the hemp thru the button holes, and it was good hand/eye coordination practice for "bump".  i stayed busy picking all of the buttons up that were inevidably scattered thru the room!

"the monster" complained that his bracelets were itching him.  after a good soaking under the faucet, the hemp became soft and no longer bothered him.  voila!
