are you ready for tomorrow?! if you are like me, you will spend most of the day in the kitchen (both cooking & grazing), while simultaneously ushering the kiddos out of the way.  here's a fun and easy project for them to do so they won't be under foot. you probably have all of the supplies (paper sack, glue & paper) around your house anyway! and what an adorable little decoration for when company arrives.

white wreath :: diy

here's a wreath diy that can carry you through the holiday season and then some!

supplies needed: a foam wreath, tulle ribbon (mine was sparkly!), feather ribbon, thin glitter ribbon & hot glue gun

1. cut ribbon into equal lengths long enough that you can tie around the wreath
2. secure each piece with a knot (no glue needed yet)
3. glue feather ribbon along the inside of the wreath to cover knots
4. loop and glue glitter ribbon for hanging

and that's that. happy weekend friends!

baby "j" was born just one week ago! most of the time, when i photograph newborns, i can hardly wake them up... not this little guy. he stayed bright eyed for me the entire time. what a flirt.

paper city advent :: diy

a very sweet little girl is coming to visit from the city this weekend and so i am surprising her with this advent calendar! i simply downloaded & printed the files from mr. printables, cut out and folded! now she can open each little box-house for a sweet treat to count down the days until christmas.

what do you do for an advent calendar? i have to admit that we never had them growing up. it's a tradition i've enjoyed creating for my boys. there are so many diy options out there!
