holiday card "outtakes" :: family photography

it's impossible to get them to stand next to each other.

not sure what is happening here.  one looks like he's pretending to be a chicken, the other looks like he's picking chicken out of his teeth.

"you're choking me!"

here, "the monster" actually poked himself in his own eye.  that takes talent.

outtakes :: family photography

is it wrong that sometimes the 'outtakes' of family photography are my favorite of the whole batch?  every photographer has them and we usually dismiss them and show our clients the lovely, happy pictures.  i try not to do this though - i go ahead and offer them to the family because, honestly, these photos are the funniest of all.  and these too, have a place in the family album.

i mean... come on.  don't you think the 2nd photograph of my brother with his kids would be the perfect xmas card?
