birds on a wire :: city photography

i feel like pictures of birds on a wire have been taken by every photographer ever. but still... when i find myself looking up and i see them, all lined up, i can't help but wonder... what are they thinking about up there? what are they saying to each other? do they know a storm is coming?

how amazing it would be to just perch up high and observe.

baby bird :: nature photography

when baby birds peak out their tiny heads over the nest each spring, i am always amazed.   i feel like they have already made such an accomplishment being that they were once just a small fragile egg.  besides predators (like daisy dog), they have to survive such crazy wind & rain!  not to mention the silly mom's that build their nest in an unreasonable place that they have trouble returning too (like inside a garage).

i'm just sayin...  baby birds are impressive.

1. find old frame with wire on back for hanging
2. hot glue tree branch / stick to bottom
3. cut out paper birds and glue to wire & branch
