wedding invite :: graphic design

now that it's all over, i want to show you how the party began! designing the invites was one of my favorite items on the wedding "to-do" list. i had so much fun coming up with the concept and really tried to set the tone for our upcoming nuptials with this little "package" each attendee received. my inspiring "cousin b" put them all together and marked each with her special touch which gave them an earthy & vintage feel.

the final invite all packaged together.  a perfect mix of pattern & texture.

each package included a formal invite, rsvp (madlib), and an invite to rehearsal dinner.

and the responses...

we had sooooo much fun getting the madlibs back in the mail. our guests were so creative and hilarious with their responses. i think i'll wait a few years, but i definitely plan to use this idea for future parties again! i can only imagine the ridiculous answers you'd get to say.... a 50th birthday party.
