super moon :: night photography

so, on saturday evening, i dragged my family out to the farm to catch a glimpse of the 'super moon'. well... 'super moon' it was not.  at least in size.  but it was beautiful anyway, and so bright the sky was lit up.  we sat together in our lawn chairs and ate ice cream and although i was disappointed with the hyped-up legend of the moon, i was pleasantly pleased to have time with my boys.
