all fixed up :: watercolor art

i love watercolor art, but i always have trouble with precision.  my shapes begin looking like blobs halfway thru a piece and i abandon it.  then i started taping off the area i wanted the watercolor to stick within.  this takes a ton of time, but it's worth it.

do you watercolor?  if so, what's your secret?
