personal notebook :: project with kids

"the monster" starts 1st grade today.   he's becoming such a little man.  still very much rambunctious boy however!  anyway, his favorite subject is math... it comes easy to him.  so, to celebrate his first day, i gave him this notebook last night.  it's purely for doodling and playing, writing notes to himself, whatever he wants.  but, as any mom would, i snuck in some fun math for him to study on the front and back covers.

to make this, i simply modge podged on some fun paper to a composition notebook.  then i used a sharpie to write fun messages and equations.

now, off to catch the bus!  xoxo
