today i share two things.  two things that go hand-in-hand for me...  baking and music.  what better way to give a little love than a homemade strawberry cake?  sweet, pink, hearts...  all the ingredients for valentines day!

i followed this recipe exactly and the cake was incredible!  i used store-bought icing, but i was thinking that this would also be delicious if served with fresh strawberries and whip cream.  especially in the summer.
