i really wanna go outside and play. each afternoon, as i emerge from my gray-walled cubical, i think about what a crime it is to be sitting in front of a computer this time of year. i think of all of the other jobs i could do that would require me to be outside... landscaping, mail delivery, lawn mowing, mountain hiking tour guide, farming, beach bartending. and the thing is, i might even be a little less angry about my cubical situation if i had a window that opened. who's idea was it to create any sort of window that doesn't open?! and i know that there are millions of office buildings out there that have these stupid fake windows, so i know you know what i mean.
so here's to the spring. and warm, sunny weekends. open your window and smell the season for me pretty please. appreciate the small little life that is happening around us. and if you are stuck in a cubical like myself, at least get out and take a walk today.
